Word always opens in Reading Layout - make it stop

Every time I open a word documet from an email attachement or from a
web site, it opens it in Reading Layout and I have to go to View and
change it to Normal. Is there any way to make it by default open as
Normal?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General tab | uncheck the
"Allow starting in Reading Layout" box | OK.
