Word and copy/pasting

Every time I copy text from another program - usually
from an internet site or adobe document - and then paste
it into Word, Word crashes. Of course it restores the
document but only after I close Word and restart the
application again. Is this error due to bad software??
How can I fix it so I don't have to deal with this
problem??

Hi William,

What version of Word are you using? What patches do you have
installed? You can find this information under Help/About Microsoft
Word.
