Word and Excel not showing in the Office Programs Listing in XP Pr

When I navigate Start, All Programs, MS Office, Access, Outlook, and
Powerpoint are listed but Word and Excel are not listed. I know the programs
are there because I can open existing documents using My Computer.

How can I get them added back to the listing?

Help, Detect and Repair will restore Office shortcuts.

is there another way, as I've got several patches and am running Business
Contact Manager - my PC doesn't seem to like detect and repair

A couple other choices are make your own shortcuts or reinstall the
software.
