I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and everything seemed to be working fine.
Yesterday, I received a message saying ' update not complete', so I clicked and again everything appeared fine until I went to use Word and Excel.
The problem is when Word or Excel is started it will open for a moment then immediately shut down.
I have tried starting both from the programs menu but the same happens...
I don't think the 'upgrade not complete' was a virus or malware as after clinking on the upgrade I noticed that Cortana was visible, which it wasn't before. A friend suggested turning off Cortana may help, but still Word and Excel won't stay open longer than a few seconds.
Any suggestions or advice would be very much appreciated.
