Word and Excel shutting down

I had the w32.bbeagle.a@mm virus on my computer. I got
rid of it and have run many tests but when I attempt to
open Word or Excel and begin working on it it shuts down
and asks to send an error report. Has anyone had this
problem and successfuly corrected it?
