Word and Outlook (XP SP3) are not working together, E-mail editor.

I can not get Outlook and Word to play together! I have always used Word as
my email editor and to read Rich Text emails, and for some reason i now get
an OLE error or it says Word is not installed correctly. I have performed
detect and repair on both and Ofiice XP in general. Any help to get these
two back together would be great! Thanks
