Word and Printer

All,

We have been having a crazy issue here that has been going
on now for a few weeks. When a user takes a single-spaced
document and makes it double spaced, it leaves huge gaps
at the bottom of each page. The margins are set to 1 inch
and if we then change them to .9, it will display
correctly. This is happening with only 2 users who are
both viewing the documents in print layout. One is using
a Dell Printer (Lexmark) and the other is using an
HP4000TN. We are also using a mixed environment of NDPS
and NT. To eliminate NDPS totally, we moved the user's
printers to NT. The issue has neither been document
specific nor printer specific. We are running W2K SP3
with Office XP SP1. We have done total reimages of their
machines and even deleted their roaming profiles.

Any help????

Eric

Any chance your users are unsophisticated enough to put in a number of empty paragraphs to force the page to change or add space between paragraphs? If there are empty paragraphs used between paragraphs for spacing that should be in the style, it will cause this.
