i am using front page 2000 and can't find word art. it
is in word and excel but not front page. is there any
way to get it in or do i have to upgrade to 2003.
This feature was added in FP2002. So, to get it, you'd
have to upgrade to that version of FP2003.
WordArt, however, is a very troublesome feature that I
advise most Web developers not to use. The reason is that
many browsers don't display it correctly. You're generally
much better off creating the stylized text in a picture
editor, and then saving the results as a GIF or JPEG file
that you add to your FrontPage Web. Or:
1. Create your WordArt in Word.
2. Display it in Word.
3. Press Ctrl+PrtSc.
4. Paste the resulting screen shot into your favorite
picture editor.
5. Crop the WordArt, then save it as a GIF or JPEG file.
6. Add the GIF or JPEG file to your FrontPage Web.
7. Drag the file from the FrontPage folder list and drop
it onto your Web page.
