Word as email editor keeps changing back

I set the option to make Word as my email editor. All day, the spelling and
grammar will work. Every time I reboot, I have to go and set the option
again to use the spelling and grammar. Any idea why this is happening?

I am running Windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2000.
