Word attachments constantly crash Safari and Entourage

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Hi

I am trying to atttach word documents to emails using both entourage and webmail. The documents continuously crash anything I try and attach them to.

Anyone have any ideas? I am a Mac novice, so please be gentle!

So, what program are you actually using? From your explanation sounds
like you are using Entrourage and/or Webmail (what is that?). If so,
what does this problem have to do with Word which seem uninvolved with
what you are doing other than being the program that created the
document file?
