Word attachments in Outlook do not open

Word attachments do not open and result in an error
message "system cannot find the requested file"

After clearing the error window ("OK"), and attempting to
open the attachment again, it will open OK.

Please help to fix this.

Both these problems suggest that you might need to reregister Word. See

Followed the instructions to the letter. The problem
persists :-( Back to the IE workaround....
ANy other suggestion? Any registry tweak?
