Word Autorecovery

I have installed all of the latest patches for both
windows and office. Now when opening certain files created
before the updates were applied, the application dies and
auto recovers repeatedly. The files worked fine before but
now I cannot do anything with them at all. Any advice?

Hi Marcus,

Any clue as the version of Windows and Office you are using? It would
also be helpful to know which updates you uninstalled, 'the latest
patches' isn't a lot to go on since they seem to come out with a new
updates daily. <g>
