Word Booklet format pagination problems

Hi,

I am using Word to create a booklet using the booklet format in page setup.
All is working great with one exception.

I am on page 16, I insert a new page, and the pagination switches to page 1,
instead of page 17. I click on the show/hide icon and i notice that when i
insert a page break, it adds it as Section 2. I made sure not to insert a
new section when i did this. So i removed the page break and simply hit
enter until i got to the next page. Again, it added a section and changed
the pagination to page 1.

Then I went to page 15, inserted a page from there and now my page 16 is now
page 17, so i copied page 17 to page 16 and started to continue to type on
page 17. While that worked for that one page, and I now have a page 17,
every page if i come to create one beyond that, it creates a 2nd section.

This is using Office 2007, latest updates.

Any ideas why this is happening? I should be able to get more than 16 pages
(4 physical sheets) without new sections being automatically created.

When you chose "Book fold," did you choose "All" for "Sheets per booklet"?
If you chose "16" or "Auto," you might see this result. Even if Word insists
on inserting a section break, it should be possible to continue the
pagination by going to Format Page Number and choosing "Continue from
previous section."

I think I chose "All". I had created this document 2 years ago and am
modifying it now. All i know is when i go to the page layout tab, it shows
"all" In any event, i selected the pagination to continue from the previous
section and that did the trick.

Thanks!
