word conversion problem.

Hi All,

We have a user who cannot convert word documents to PDF. We have adobe 6.0
installed, when user opens up adobe pro and clicks on convert document
nothing happens. I can logon and convert documents on that machine
successfully. I have reinstalled the software user still gets the problem.

Please could someone help / advise.

Re Hi,

I will suggest deleting the user local profile and let hem/ her log on again.
Local profile location = C:\Documents and Settings
Ps. Be sure to back up the old profile you can rename it as well
(C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile% will be C:\Documents and
Settings\%userprofile.old%)

What happens when the user selects File/Print in Word and prints to the
Adobe PDF printer that is installed with Acrobat 6? This printer feature
has been very useful to me since with it I can create a PDF file from almost
any program that prints.
