The way I would solve that problem would be to do the note in Word which has
a word count feature as well as possibly stronger grammer checking and other
tools, then copy/paste the result into the notes pane of the slide.
Not what you asked, specifically, just how I would go about it.

Even better, saves the young lady from copy-pasting each slide-notes
individually into word.
Also, some objects and methods I haven't used yet, I will save that one for
my toolbox, if you don't mind.
