I have a 23 page document with many graphics in it, at one point in the editing cycle I could save as a 97.doc version yet now every time I try saving or changing the .DOCX format (such as RTF) it bombs with a crash and report, any ideas how to reclaim the .DOCX to some form that I can save under .DOC format?
Interestingly enough the .DOCX does not open under Windows XP with Office 2003 and the 2007 file format extension handler either!
