Sounds like a graphics driver issue. What's changed lately? You can try
troubleshooting Word. If the problem remains, it's very likely an issue with
your video/graphics driver/card.
yes i did install a new video card, ATI X800XL, and i've already installed
the newest drivers. but i'm surprised that such a popular card can cause
problems in Word. I'll contact ATI about this too.
