Word crashes when I open it

I have had a problem with my version of Word (Office XP)
over the past couple of weeks. I open Word and it looks
just fine, then all of a sudden I receive a message that
it has experienced a problem and must restart. I have
reinstalled and run repair from the installation disk...
Nothing has helped... And today, I tried to print
something basic off of the internet and received the same
type of error message in explorer...

Any idea what is happening? I am not having this problem
with other computers here at the office, only my laptop.
