Word crashes when trying type envelope with Outlook database

When I try use an address for an envelope on Word XP using an Outlook
profile, Word crashes with the following error:

AppName: Winword.exe ModName: schdmapi.dll

If anyone can help solve this, I'd really appreciate it.

Just some extra info: I did move the info from Outlook 97 on a Windows 98
computer to Outlook 2002 on an XP computer. I did this by export and import
of a .pst file.

I made sure that Outlook is the default email client.

I tried copying the Office 97 schdmapi.dll file into the Program
File\Microsoft Office\Office 10\1033 directory as recommended by Microsoft
and restarted the computer - same problem.

Rather a mess here.
Are we to assume that you have installed the entire Office XP Suite clean on
this computer and that all your Office programs versions match?

Yes, it is a brand new install with the full suite (minus Acess which we
don't need on this computer). The only thing I did was import her address
book from Outlook, etc. from her old computer running Office 97.

The only other think I can think of to try is to reinstall Word - but I
don't know if I can install over the current installation or if I can just
remove Word, reboot the computer and reinstall it. I don't want to remove
the entire Office Suite again.

Thanks!
