Word Crashes

Hi,

Word seems to crash when I'm running spellcheck. It comes up with a Winword.exe Application error. I'm using word 2000 on a W2K Pro PC. I only have read & execute access to most of directories on the PC. Any help?

Plus, I get this error message from only one particular file. "You cannot save this while the file is in use by another process. Try saving the file with a new name." Then another window pops up saying autosave has been postponed for the file. It only happens when I'm in this one particular file. Any idea?

I'm sorry to say that I have the same problem. I tried
Word 2003 and 2002 with Windows XP SP1 and have same
error. Sometimes I can open a doc, type 1 character and it
crashes. It is related to the spellcheck engine. I used
Internet Office update without success.
Current version Word 2002 (10.6612.6626) SP3.
Application log Type Error, EventID 1000:"Faulting
application winword.exe, version 10.0.6612.0, faulting
module mssp3nl.dll, version 3.0.5.0, fault address
0x00008ff6."
Anyone an idea how to solve this horrible problem?
Greetings, Paul.
