Word Doc saves as multiple PDF files

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have many Word docs that each have multiple sections, and when I use the Print dialog box to save these documents as PDFs, I end up with a separate PDF for each of the sections. Is there any way to avoid getting multiple PDF's without having to create my Word doc as one single section?

Not as yet, but you can combine the output into a single PDF using Apple's
Preview app or any of a number of PDF utilities as well as Acrobat. With
Preview it's just a matter of opening one of the PDFs, expanding the Drawer,
then dragging the others into the Drawer from a finder Window.

If you have Windows Word and you know that using it on the file won't
screw up fonts and stuff, try this: Open the doc in Windows Word and
perform some page setup action that will act on the entire file without
hurting it. For example, change a margin a bit for the whole document a
bit, then change it back. The file will now probaby print as one file.
However, if you perform any new page actions on the new file, it will
go back to separate print jobs.

Won't work on a Mac: that's why he specified PC Word :)

You have to do the reset in PC Word to re-write all the section breaks in
the document. After that, it will be OK on the Mac until next time you hit
a page property that impacts a section break.

Cheers

Interesting! I'm on a Mac, but I might give that a try anyway. Thanks!
