Word docs not saving in correct folders

I was working on an Excel spreadsheet earlier this morning, and when I tried
doing a "save as" to my My Documents folder, the folder kept changing to a
different user's My Documents folder.

I later tried saving a Word document to My Documents folder, and again, it
wanted to save it to a different user's My Documents folder. I cannot figure
out how to change the default folder. Help!

Tried that and they still want to go to the other user's My Documents folder.
I've also tried setting the default folders, but that doesn't work, either.

Are you logged in as you?

Also, if you are going to use a sig separator, please bottom post, as
everything after it is removed by a proper news reader.
