Each time I open Word the "document1" screen comes up and has "Test Page How does it print". How do I delete this, as when I don't delete it, it shows up on all my documents.

You've apparently saved that phrase into your Normal template. If you
don't need your other customizations, just delete (with Word closed)

Word 2004: Normal, found in ~:Documents/Microsoft User Data:

Word 2008: Normal.dotm, found in

~:Library:Application Support:Microsoft:Office:User Templates:

where ~ is your home directory.
