Word document scrolls to top of document

Hi,

I use Word 2002 sp-2. Sometime the documents starts to
scroll to the top of the document. When this happens, the
only thing I can do is to restart my PC. This scrolling
to the top happans in all windows (even in for example
the Explorer). Whatever I do, it keeps scrolling back to
the top.

I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that this happens when
a autocorrect feature of Word starts. I think I disabled
all autocorrects. But I see that whenver it happans, the
little book in the bottum toolbar is 'writing'.

Hi Michael,

The book in the status bar means the background spell checker is at work.

If your problems disappear when you disable that ("Tools > Options >
Spelling and Grammar > Check spelling as you type"), you might ask in the
..word.spelling.grammar newsgroup if it's a known bug, and if there's
something else that can be done short of disabling the spell checker.
