Word Document that Captures IP and Username When Opened

[O.B.]

I'm wanting to put a small Word document file in a public directory
where when opened, it connects to a database and stores the IP address
of the person opening the file and their current Windows' logged-in
username. Is this fairly easy to do? Pointers? Tips? Anything would
be appreciated. Thanks.
