Word Document will not open within an Email message in Outlook

Would changing Internet Options disable the ability to
open Word Documents within Outlook? If Default settings
were chosen in Internet Options, and still Word docs
would not open, what troubleshooting would you suggest?

It is almost certainly a security measure. You should not be opening
documents from Outlook. This is a recipe for virus propagation. Save to the
hard drive and open from there.
