What does "Word could not fire event" mean when I try to close a document?

indicates that there is an add-in loaded that contains an AutoExit macro.
You might see what add-ins are loaded in Word; if you see any that look old
or unneeded, remove them from Word's Startup folder.
There's nothing in my word starup folder.

The antivirus is Virusbarrier X for Mac.
