word documents don't print

Recently I have been unable to print documents from word or notepad.
I have no problem printing web pages.

Any ideas on what went wrong and how to correct the problem.

What version of Word? What version of Windows? Did you install any
updates or service packs to Word or Windows recently? Do you get an
error message when you try to print? If you have more than one printer,
does this problem occur with all of your printers? As a guess, try
deleting and reinstalling your printer in Start | Control Panel |
Printers.
