word documents printing different to how they are typed.

I have just noticed that my word documents are printing with every second
line with only a few words in it. I dont know what is going on. I noticed
if I save them to my documents they appear like that once reopened. If i go
into "view" in words and click on web layout the document looks correct but
when it is printed it is printing with every second line with only a few
words in it.

What version of Word are you using and what is your operating system? Do
you have a printer installed?

Thanks for replying Bodey Man I think I may have solved the problem. For some
reason I had Word 97 plus Office 2000 installed so I took Word 97 out and
what I typed this morning seemed to be o.k. I am using windows XP and have
an epson stylus CX1500 printer.
