Word does not display/print graphics

Using Word 2002 SP1.

Editing someone else's document that contains in-line screen shots. I
don't know how the screen shots were originally inserted.

Everything looks fine in Print Layout view, but in Print Preview (and
when printing the document) the screenshots are not there.

What am I missing?

(Previewing/printing the same document in Word 97 works fine).
