Word does not fill in the address on labels or envelopes

Every Word I have used will fill in the label information or envelope addresses. I just got a new computer with Word XP and when I have an address at the top left of my document and then go to Tools, Envelopes and Labels - the address is not filled in on the Envelope and Label screen. Is something set up wrong, maybe???? TIA
