Word doesn't merge Excel spreadsheets onto envelopes.

Word doesn't merge addresses from Excel!

I created a database of addresses in an Excel spreadsheet. When I went to
Word to create a "merge" file, I wanted to print those addresses onto
envelopes. The "merge" wizard said it didn't recognize any database in Excel
even after I clicked on the database when prompted. The "merge" wizard will
let me create labels with the same database, but it won't let me merge the
addresses onto envelopes. Someone's gotta fix this!!!!!

It works fine in every version of Word, so it must be something that you are
doing wrong. I am unable to give you any instructions because you haven't
hinted at which versions of Word and Windows you use. But go to the
