Hello.
I just received my new HP laptop and have installed Office XP professional.
Things seem ok except when I try to send an email from Outlook I get the
error message, " This form requires word as your email editor but word is
either busy or cannot be found. The form will be opened in the outlook editor
instead". I can select plain text under options and deselect Word for
reading or editing....but I would like to use Word and fix this problem too.
By the way, when I installed my PDA software I got a dialog box that said the
same thing...that it couldn't find Word and would instead use Wordpad to
generate the Macros. I saw an earlier email that included going into the
registry. I'm an electrician and am not scared of hot panels but I am
frightened of the registry and bios. Hope I can get some help! Thanks.
