Word encountered an error when running templates

Hey,

I posted this to the programming list, but I think this
list is probably better suited for it. I have a complex
macro that is in a template. Three userforms are
automatically generated when the template is opened and
then a recorded merge/save as procedure is run for the
user. This works fine on my computer, but when I have a
user try it on their own p.c. it generates a Word error
and fails the procedure. The templates they are using are
located on a network. When I use the templates they are
located on the network as well, but I don't encounter any
problems.

I'd appreciate any help with this. The error messages are
either: "Winword.exe caused error - instructions at
reference memory" or "Word encountered an error at some
numbers I can't recall now."

Hi Jason,

As you originally suspected, one of the Word VBA newsgroups would be
best for helping you out here.

However they may not have had enough information. Try posting again
but this time include the version of Word you are using, patches that
are installed, the version of Word and patches for the users
encountering the error and the portion of code you think could be
causing the error.

A good newsgroup would be word.vba.general or word.vba.userforms.
