Hi,
When we start the Word, Word encountered file corruption
while opening c:\Program Files\...Normal.dot. Part of this
document may be recoverable. Attempt recovery now?
also seen the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 203488.
in that, an entry is written to the Windows registry
indicating that the program has started. After Word is
fully initialized, the registry entry is removed. Word
uses this registry entry to determine whether the
initialization process failed or succeeded. If the entry
exists in the registry, Word determines that the
initialization of the first instance of Word failed and
displays the error message. If the entry does not exist,
Word determines that the initialization process succeeded,
and no error message appears.
Please let me know the relavent docs for, where/what we
need to check in the registry.
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.
