Help!

Can not print in Word 2000. I have error 304508 exactly.

Have tried what was suggested and still no go. Also
pretty much scraped registry of all e-stamp entries.
Might be a couple in there still though.

Anyway is that the problem or is there something else I
can try?

THANKS!!!

Tom

Hi Tom,

Take a look under Tools/Templates and Add-ins and see if the E-Stamps
add-in is listed in your global templates and add-ins list. If you
find it then the add-in is still present in one of your Startup
folders. Try searching for the file name listed in order to locate it.

Uh oh, looks like I have to go in and uncheck the box
every time I open Word again abd try to print. Also to
make things worse, the Remove option is grayed out
probably because of the bad uninstall or my registry
scraping. ANyway, got any other ideas how I can get that
fixed?

THANKS AGAIN!

Hi Tom,

The reason the Remove command is disabled is due to how the add-in was
loaded. Unchecking the template in Tools/Templates and Add-ins will
not prevent it from loading when Word starts.

You need to locate the file and in this case you may as well delete it
since it was created for earlier versions of Word.

If you are unable to located your Startup folders then use Windows
Search and search your local drive for the file name which is what you
see listed in the dialog box.
