Word -Error mesage

When I go to a document in Word I get error message "
macros have been disabled due to security level" I have
to x out twice to get my file..how do i stop this?

There's a lot about this in Help, if you look up "security".

Tools > Macro > Security is the place to go to adjust the security level.
