word errror

every time that I try to "insert" a "symbol" the computer
crashes. Has anybody ever heard of this? I never have,
but it is very frustrating. Please Help

Problems with the Symbol, Font, Page Setup, Style, Print, and similar
dialogs often point to a damaged printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer (preferably with an updated driver).
