word.exe has generated errors and will be .........

when I work with word, it works fine. After saving the documents when I close the application, it seems like the application hangs for some time and an error pops up...
" Word.exe has geneerated errors and will be closed by windows. An error log has been created. You need to restart the program."
This is the error only in WORD. Everything works fine in EXCEL,PWRPOINT etc.
Can any one help me out ?..
