WORD.EXE simply disappeared -- when reinstalled says that WWINTL32.dll is incorr

Yesterday, WORD simply stopped functioning. I thought the
shortcut became corrupt, but when I went to make a new
shortcut, I found the "EXE" file was no longer there.

Reinstalled WORD '97 from the CD. Now when I click on the
EXE file, it says "incorrect wwintl32.dll" make sure it is
in the WORD path.

NOW WHAT?
