Occasionally when searching on a phrase (the most recent
example being "an virtual"), Find fails to acknowledge the
existence of an instance of the phrase but finds other
instances in the same document. If the phrase is copied
and pasted in a nearby location, it is found. Upon closing
and re-opening the Find window, it then finds the original
instance of the phrase. This is without using any added
settings (i.e, Fonts or any of the "More" features). This
is problematic because without knowing the reason, the
only reliable work around is to shut the Find window
before any new phrase is entered. Has anyone else
experienced this? Is the cause known? Does Microsoft know?
