I installed Word 97 successfully into my new computer
with Windows XP operating system. It worked OK initially
but I am now getting a message part way through typing a
letter as follows:-
'Microsoft Word for Windows 97 Application file has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience'.
I am not able to save any of the typed document . I
have tried 5 times and each time the error message
appears at different stages. Anyone got any ideas as to
why this is happening?
