word freezes when I try to use insert clipart

Tonight everytime I try to insert clipart into Word the
program freezes. I have a firewall, but I have specified
that it allow the media catalog object. I have had to
end task 4 times to get out of word. This hasn't
happened previously...anyone know what the problem is? I
have a LAN connection. Thanks.

Hi B.L,

What version of Word are you using and what procedure
are you using for inserting the graphics?

Try clearing your Internet files cache and also
Start=>Search/Find and locating the *.tmp;~$*.do*
string and removing those files before restarting Word.

Thanks for the reply. The issue appears to have resolved
itself. It wasn't a memory or space problem (new
computer, tons of everything...). Word was freezing when
I tried to search for clip art from the web. I have Word
2002. If it happens again, I'll try to figure out why.
