When I'm making documents with many pictures, word suddenly stops working,
and when i open the programmaneger there is two versions running, and the
status for both is not responding??

I also have a problem running other programs when using word, the simply
don't start until i close word??

Sorry I'm running Word 2007 on XP home edition.

Running the detect and repair, found on error, and word seems to be more
stabel.

But it froze again when trying to save an document as PDF, same story with
the program manager, word running twice, and both not answering.

Regarding the link I cant' figure it out becourse my word is in danish, and
nothing looks like the screendumps.

I was a litte to quick, problem still persist.
My first test was using print screen, and pasting it into word works fine,
resizing and cutting pictures OK.

But if I try to copy an picture from a webpage and paste it word freezes, If
i try saving the picture on the desktop and insert it from there, word
freezes when changing the folder from dokuments to desktop???

That may be because the security of your AV is trying to stop the picture
downloading itself directly into Word, so Word is hanging waiting for the
paste action to complete. It may also be the web security stopping you from
downloading the graphic or you may just need to wait while it downloads. I
don't think this is in any way a Word problem.

Your Temp folder should be in Documents and Settings | UserName | Local
Settings | Temp and with all applications closed, it should be empty. Delete
everything you find in there (you may need to reboot first to unlock any
locked temp files).

Nope its not the AV there isent' any problems doing it in other
programs(publisher), and the path you describe don't match my setup, the only
thing under "Username" is an icon less file named Temp(dat file, size 0).

The size of the document, its only 820 kb, and there's eight or nine pictures.
Just found out that if i make an new doc. it works fine(even with many more
than 9 pics.), but docs. with a lot of text, and pictures that have been
editet a lot makes word freez.
