WORD Freezes With Multiple Files Open

Hi:

I have Office XP Professional. Whenever I have more than
one file open in the WORD environment and I switch from
one file to the other, WORD freezes. This happens mostly
when I hit the enter button, or occasionally when I am
typing.

I have tried repairing the application, all to no avail.
Please help.

If this is Windows XP, try going to the Control Panel, Regional & Languages,
Languages, Advanced button and uninstall the Handwriting Recognition.
