Word / G5 / Visual Basic failure / Unablle to open application

I just purchased a G5 and it came bundled with a limited 30 day
trial of V10 of Word. My office, because of a project we are
working on, is limiting everybody to Office 98. I can open
everything else in the suite except for Word. When I try to open
word, I get a pop-up that says "Visual Basic Error: An unepected
critical error occured. Could not open application," or somehting
close to that. My wife has a G4 laptop that is running OS 10.3. I'm
running 10.2.7. She can open Word 98, I can't. Any ideas.

Hi Ryan,

We're more PC users in this group so you may have better luck posting
in one of the Mac Word groups. :)
