I have MS Office Small Business and on one of my
computers, Word hangs every time I try to open, close, or
save a shared document on my server. One thing I heard
that would help is to add a DWORD value named "cachesize"
in the registry under ...Word>Options that is 1024 bytes,
and that seemed to help for a while, but after a few days
it is still hanging for up to several minutes at a time.
A couple other seemingly indentical computers were having
the same problem a couple months ago, and once I added
the DWORD value, they have worked perfectly. Any
suggestions?
