Word hangs

Hi,
I have win2k o/s loaded on dell c610 laptop . Have few
problems with ms word. It just hangs at the window screen.
I uninstalled ,repaired and reinstalled msoffice . Ran the
regclean and deleted all the temp files from the laptop. I
notice the problem only with word and not with
excel/powerpoint/access . Plz suggest Asap !

Sounds like it could be a printer driver issue, since Word is dependent on
it for layout. Make sure your default printer driver is a LOCALLY installed
driver, not one that is on the network. If that's already the case, try
deleting and reinstalling the driver.
