Word has a bug in image loading

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

Word will not load an image from Fathom 2.1 (it shows up as an empty box). The images are the graphs cpyed from Fathom into Word 2007 (for Windows).

Yes I too am having the same problem. When in Draft View an image that has been dragged to the document or imported by browsing does not show. It does show in Page View. But before it worked fine in Draft (formerly known as Normal) View. What's going on?!

Your issue is *not* the same as that in the other message. This is simply a
matter of Text Wrapping. In Line images are the only ones hat display in
Draft/Normal view. Floating images - those with some form of text wrapping
applied - do not display in anything other than Print Layout View. This,
however, is no different that in 2004 & most earlier versions. The only
thing that's different is that the default in 2004 [I believe] is set to In
Line whereas the default in 2008 is Square. That can be changed in Word>
Preferences - Edit [Insert/paste pictures as:].

FYI: Even if your issue were identical there's nothing to be gained by
posting a "me too" reply. Just try the posted solutions when they appear. If
the issue isn't identical and/or those solutions don't work for you there
must be something *different* about your situation in which case it calls
for a NEW message rather than a REPLY to another. Your version info for OS X
& Office need to be included as well - that can make a lot of difference.

Thanks for your consideration :)
