Word has no toolbars

My word has no toolbars when I open it which means I
cannot save any files and other essential functions I
cannot now use.

I am really stuck - have no idea why it's changed.

Have reinstalled Office but still to no avail.

Can anyone help please - I cannot do any work till this
is fixed.

I found an earlier thread from someone with same problem
and followed the fix - and fixed it !
